KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Scheduling

· Develop detailed project timelines with milestones, considering monsoon seasons and festive breaks.

· Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently across multiple infrastructure disciplines.

· Monitor progress regularly using tools like MS Project or Primavera, adjusting schedules when delays occur.

Team Leadership

· Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, lab technicians, and contractors with clear direction.

· Foster collaboration through open communication and bilingual documentation (Bahasa Malaysia & English).

· Coordinate with consultants and contractors to align project milestones.

Budget & Cost Control

· Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial frameworks like MTEF.

· Track expenditures and material costs to prevent overruns.

· Negotiate bulk procurement contracts to stabilize prices of cement, steel, and bitumen.

Quality Assurance

· Ensure construction activities comply with JKR, CIDB, ISO, ASTM, and BS standards.

· Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship and material quality.

· Implement corrective actions for non‑compliance to maintain project integrity.

Safety & Compliance

· Enforce OSHA, CIDB, HIRARC, and PTW procedures across all project sites.

· Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for workers.

· Maintain records of safety checks, incident reports, and compliance audits.

Reporting & Documentation / Risk Management

· Prepare structured reports, incident logs, and compliance documentation.

· Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections.

· Identify potential risks such as weather delays, labour shortages, or material price hikes.

· Implement mitigation strategies including contingency planning and resource buffers.

· Review and update risk registers regularly to ensure project resilience.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
