Job Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Bank's strategic initiatives, business plans, and transformation programmes.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, industry analysis, and environmental scanning to provide insights on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Perform data analytics, business analysis, and financial modelling to support strategic planning, business cases, and management decision-making.
  • Prepare strategic reports, presentations, discussion papers, and materials for Group Management Committees, Board Committees, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with business divisions, subsidiaries, and support functions to gather information, analyse issues, and evaluate strategic initiatives.
  • Support the identification and assessment of new business opportunities, partnerships, business adjacencies, and growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic reviews, annual business plans, corporate exercises, and special projects undertaken by the Corporate Strategy Department.
  • Assist in monitoring the implementation of strategic initiatives across the Group and highlight areas requiring management attention or intervention.
  • Organise and coordinate Corporate Strategy Department meetings, workshops, offsites, and strategy-related engagements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare meeting materials, minutes, reports, correspondence, presentations, and other documentation required.
  • Manage departmental administrative matters including travel arrangements, meeting coordination, budget administration, procurement requests, and document management.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the Department's objectives and deliverables.
  • Perform any other duties, assignments, or special projects as directed by Unit Head and or Head, Corporate Strategy or other supervising officers

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in strategy, business planning, corporate development, management consulting, financial analysis, project management, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful business insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modelling, data analysis, and presentation development.
  • Good understanding of banking, financial services, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Experience in conducting market research, competitor benchmarking, financial analysis, and strategic assessments.
  • Strong report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare management and Board-level materials.
