Job Summary
As a Process Engineer based overseas, you will optimize manufacturing processes and uphold high product quality standards to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement projects such as new product launches, process and machinery modifications, and material evaluations
Initiate and execute yield improvement projects through machine mechanization and process optimization
Collaborate with other plants to implement improvement projects and lead the Work Improvement Team (WIT)
Support production by applying 4M analysis to identify root causes of excursions and implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions
Apply method studies and quality tools including DOE, SPC, PFMEA, and statistical testing to improve processes
Develop, implement, and continuously enhance manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, productivity, and product quality
Design and install new machinery to create significant improvements in production efficiency and reliability
Use and document engineering drawings and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) to lead engineering evaluations
Lead the Quality Change Process Checklist (QCPC) for new product transfers
Identify and establish training programs with the training department to enhance operational readiness of production personnel
Lead a team of Project Managers and Process Engineers to successfully complete assigned projects
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Process, Mechanical, or Production Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies
Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools
Willingness to be permanently based overseas
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry
