About the Role
We are looking for an experienced accounts, or fresh graduate to join Kanika (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. as an Accounts & Administration Assistant, providing direct support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The Accounts & Administration Assistant is responsible for providing day-to-day support in accounting, financial administration, office administration, documentation, coordination, and follow-up matters. The position will assist the CFO in ensuring that accounting and administrative activities are properly recorded, organised, accurate, and completed in a timely manner.
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate the CFO’s daily schedule, appointments, correspondence, organizing team meetings, travel arrangements, and other commitments, ensuring all activities are properly organized and followed up in a timely manner.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and follow-up matters for the CFO.
Assist in preparing monthly management reports.
Assist in budget monitoring and financial analysis as required.
Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
Assist with daily accounting and finance-related administrative tasks
Follow up with relevant HODs and staff on pending matters.
Prepare information and documents required by the CFO for management review.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.
Support management in strategic planning and business improvement initiatives.
Support finance functions, prepare reporting, reconciliation, and documentation.
Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for management review.
Provide general administrative support to the CFO and Finance Department.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounts and administrative records.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and Company information.
What we're looking for
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Good communication and confidentiality handling.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with high proficiency in English
Proficient in using the MS Office suite, including advanced skills in Excel
Discreet and able to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
