Job Responsibilities:

1) Plan and conduct research and experiments to drive innovation and continuous improvement in product or process development.

2) Evaluate new chemicals and materials, assessing their potentials for value addition, improved quality, enhanced product performance, and cost-saving opportunities.

3) Identify areas for enhancement and recommend improvements to product performance and quality.

4) Provide technical support for production processes, conduct raw materials analysis, troubleshoot quality issues, and address customer inquiries effectively.

5) Perform pilot-scale trials to evaluate the feasibility, scalability, and seamless implementation of new products and process developments by transferring protocols and offering necessary guidance at the factory level.

6) Stay updated with the latest advancements in specialized research through literature search and knowledge-sharing with fellow researchers.

7) Cultivate strong relationships with raw materials suppliers to ensure a steady and reliable supply of high-quality materials.

8) Efficiently collaborate, both internally and externally, with reputable research bodies and universities to develop and execute research strategies that drive innovation.

9) Communicate regularly with superiors and stakeholders, reporting project progress, results, and analysis through reports, presentations, and meetings.

10) Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior

Job Requirements:

1) Master/PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Engineering or related field.

2) Candidates with a B.Sc. (Hons) degree will also be considered if they have a proven strong research track record.

3) At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing innovative and breakthrough research related to new products and processes.

4) Familiarity with methodologies for new products, processes, and materials development, including product maintenance procedures.

5) Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

6) Pleasant personality, able to interact with all levels of people.

7) Results-oriented, keen on learning, proactive, and constantly challenging mindset.

8) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
