Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and manage daily production activities to achieve production targets, delivery schedules and quality requirements.
  • Monitor production performance, manpower utilization, material usage and machine efficiency.
  • Lead and supervise Production Supervisors, Leaders and Operators to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Ensure production processes are carried out according to approved SOPs, Work Instructions and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with QA, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse and other departments to resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and improve productivity, production efficiency, yield and overall operational performance.
  • Identify production problems, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, environmental requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Manage production manpower, including manpower planning, work allocation, training and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare and review production reports, performance data and other relevant production records.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production costs, waste, defects and downtime.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping, 6S and safe working practices within the production area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing, with managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in chemical, plating, anodizing or surface treatment manufacturing will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, process control, quality management and workplace safety.
  • Good leadership, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to manage manpower and work effectively with different departments.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.

Authority

  • Allocate manpower, workstations and production activities according to production requirements.
  • Approve and control daily production schedules within the approved production plan.
  • Stop or suspend production when serious quality, safety or process issues are identified.
  • Request maintenance, engineering or technical support when production equipment or process issues occur.
  • Recommend manpower changes, training, disciplinary actions and performance improvements for production employees.
  • Recommend or initiate corrective actions to improve production efficiency, quality and productivity.
  • Reject or hold production output that does not meet approved quality or process requirements, subject to company procedures.
  • Escalate major production, quality, safety, delivery or manpower issues to Management for further decision.
  • Authorize the use of production resources within the limits of approved company policies and procedures.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
