Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project completion and handover
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and statutory requirements
Consultant & Contractor Coordination
Lead and coordinate with consultants (Architects, Structural, M&E and other consultants/specialists)
Manage and coordinate all subcontractors to ensure timely deliverables
Chair site meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and site issues
Monitor construction progress, quality, and workmanship on-site
Cost, Procurement & Contracts
Manage tendering, contract administration, variations, and progress claims in liaison with the Quantity Surveyor.
Monitor project costs and implement value engineering without compromising quality and time
Review and approve subcontractor claims and final accounts
Quality, Safety & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with
Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)
requirements
Implement quality assurance and quality control processes
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, consultants, and sub-contractors
Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain clear communication throughout the project
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Degree or Diploma in
Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Architecture
, or related field
Experience
Minimum
3-5 years
of construction project management experience in Singapore
Experience in
conservation shophouse projects or heritage buildings
will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of local construction practices
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good contract administration and cost control skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in tight urban environments
