You'll be doing 360 recruitment, finding clients, understanding their hiring needs, finding the right people, managing the process, closing placements, and building relationships that bring business back to you.

Some days you'll be speaking to a CEO or hiring manager. Other days you'll be hunting for a candidate who doesn't even know they're looking for a new job yet. You'll have wins, you'll get rejected, and sometimes you'll have to chase something five times before it happens.

That's recruitment.

And if you're good at it, there's a lot of upside.

What You'll Be Doing

• Find and develop new clients and turn them into long-term accounts.
• Speak with companies to understand what they actually need, not just what is written on a job description.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, databases, referrals, networking, and your own contacts.
• Speak with candidates, understand what they want from their career, and help them make the right move.
• Manage the recruitment process from the first conversation all the way through to placement.
• Negotiate with clients and candidates and make sure deals get closed.
• Build your own client and candidate network.
• Develop your own area of expertise and become someone clients come to when they need talent.
• Keep yourself informed about your market, the companies hiring, and the people moving within it.
• Take ownership of your numbers, your clients, your candidates, and ultimately your own desk.
• Work closely with the team, share leads and ideas, and help each other win.

Who We're Looking For

We're not too concerned about having the perfect CV.

We're more interested in what you're made of.

You should be:

• Hungry to succeed and willing to work for it.
• Comfortable picking up the phone and speaking to strangers.
• Competitive with yourself and motivated by results.
• Not afraid of rejection.
• Confident enough to have difficult conversations.
• Curious about people and business.
• Able to build relationships quickly.
• Independent enough to get things done without someone constantly telling you what to do.
• Coachable and willing to learn.
• Commercially minded (You understand that activity creates opportunities and opportunities create money)
• Someone who wants more than just a monthly salary.

You don't necessarily need years of recruitment experience.

If you've done sales, business development, recruitment, account management, insurance, real estate, or another role where you've had to win people over and deliver results, we'd like to speak with you.
