Key Responsibilities:
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for construction materials, consumables, and services.
Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, and conduct price negotiations.
Raise and manage purchase orders in line with project and production schedules.
Track and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely arrival and resolve supply issues or delays.
Work closely with Production, QA/QC Engineering teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in material forecasting to avoid shortages or excess.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in vendor performance assessments and price benchmarking.
Support internal and external audits by providing relevant procurement documentation.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction, precast, or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials (e.g., cement, rebar, aggregates, concrete accessories) is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or procurement software.
Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Team player with a positive work attitude and initiative.
