Madam Yong Delight Hiring! Full Time R-D Executive (Food Product Development) in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 3,500 - Ricebowl

This role is suitable for a fresh graduate or junior Food Science/Food Technology professional who enjoys working directly with food, conducting trials, solving product challenges and improving product quality.

You will work closely with our experienced production and management teams, combining practical food-making knowledge with a structured approach to product development and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product development and product improvement trials.
• Develop and optimise product formulations and production processes.
• Plan and conduct structured R&D trials and document results systematically.
• Evaluate product quality including taste, texture, appearance, consistency and stability.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and maintain proper trial records.
• Assist with product quality and shelf-life assessments.
• Troubleshoot product and processing issues and recommend practical improvements.
• Work closely with Production and QC teams on product and process improvements.
• Prepare and maintain formulations, product specifications, trial reports and R&D documentation.
• Liaise with ingredient and equipment suppliers on technical matters where required.
• Ensure R&D activities comply with food safety, quality and Halal requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company formulations, processes and product-development activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of food R&D or product-development experience are also welcome.
• Basic understanding of food ingredients, food processing and food safety.
• Able to conduct experiments systematically and maintain accurate records.
• Strong interest in hands-on food product development and problem solving.
• Willing to work directly in a food-production environment and conduct practical trials.
• Good analytical, observation and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating closely with experienced production personnel.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, desserts, ready-to-eat foods or related food-processing environments is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
