Job Summary

You will develop financial models and perform valuations to support mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising. You will prepare client materials, conduct due diligence, and build client relationships to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions
• Perform valuation analyses using comparable companies, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow (DCF) methods
• Formulate recommendations for product offerings, private equity deals, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations
• Prepare and review client financing materials including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to expand business opportunities
• Conduct due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for live transactions
• Create presentations to effectively communicate client portfolio information
• Monitor current events and relevant market news to inform analysis and recommendations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• MBA or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience (Associate position)
• Bachelor’s degree from a target school or equivalent (Analyst position)
• Three or more years of finance or business experience, particularly quantitative roles (Associate position)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Knowledge of deal structuring and closing principles
• Strong communication and networking skills to engage stakeholders and clients
• Advanced research, quantitative, and analytical skills to interpret and explain market events
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to support analysis and presentations
• Strong organizational skills to manage overlapping tasks and shifting priorities
• Advanced financial modeling skills to support transaction analysis
