Responsibilities
About the role
The Project Management Office (PMO) is a pivotal role within Johnson Electric and will be under the corporate office in Hong Kong. The PMO is responsible for global CAPEX management, program managing special global projects assigned by C-Suite, financial data analysis to identify and address issues impacting regional or site-specific performance, and creation of accessible and insightful visual reports on Power BI for management updates. The role involves working with manufacturing teams on plant shop floors to understand products and operation processes and find new opportunities to save cost, and eliminating human intervention in developing reports by developing Single Source of truth data sources within the organization.
Key responsibilities
Manage global CAPEX which involves business case review, presenting to management for approval, and annual CAPEX budget management
Program manage special global projects assigned by C-Suite, such as new site setup, new product launch, and production lines transfer across countries
Analyze financial data to identify and address issues impacting regional or site-specific performance
Collaborate with respective functions to formulate recovery action plans
Create accessible and insightful visual reports on Power BI for management updates
Work with manufacturing teams on plant shop floor to understand products and operation processes and find new opportunities to save cost
Develop Single Source of truth data sources within the organization
Leverage AI, Large Language Models, and machine learning in project management and financial applications
About you
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering with 2 to 3 years of work experience in a technical manufacturing role
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage but not mandatory
Experience in financial analysis
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, including data shaping, DAX modeling, and visualization
Comfortable dealing with complex, non-standardized regional data
Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis
Proficiency in English
Agility to work across various time zones, engaging with various teams globally in Johnson Electric
Pragmatic thought process in analyzing problems
