HIP Group Hiring! Full Time English Junior Copywriter in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 1,700 - Ricebowl

We’re looking for a Junior Content Writer who loves writing, travelling and discovering new places and doesn’t mind stepping in front of the camera too.

This isn’t just a desk-based writing role. You’ll get the opportunity to explore places, experience hotels and restaurants, meet interesting people, attend events and turn those experiences into stories for The HIP Life Asia.

Basically, we’re looking for someone who can tell a good story both through words and on camera.

You don’t need to be an experienced presenter or content creator. We’re looking for someone who is curious, creative, comfortable talking to people and excited to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Write travel, lifestyle, food, hotel and culture articles
• Research destinations, trends and story ideas
• Join photoshoots, travel assignments and events
• Experience and review hotels, restaurants and attractions
• Interview people and gather information for stories
• Occasionally appear in videos and other social content
• Work with our photographers, designers and content team
• Help turn one experience into content across articles, social media and video
• Keep up with what’s new and interesting in Malaysia and the region

Who We’re Looking For

• Have a genuine interest in food, hotels, culture and lifestyle
• Are comfortable being in front of the camera or willing to learn
• Can communicate confidently with different people
• Are curious and proactive
• Have good written and spoken English
• Can manage deadlines and take ownership of your work
• Don’t mind travelling for assignments when required

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Writing, journalism, communications, media, marketing or related backgrounds are a plus, but we care just as much about your personality, curiosity and ability to tell a good story.

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
