Operations Manager
The Operations Manager, is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of a multi-site network of private dialysis centers across Malaysia. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, patient safety, profitability, and long-term sustainability of all centers. The position oversees day-to-day operations, clinical performance, quality assurance, supply chain optimization, and workforce management, while driving continuous improvement and expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership & Performance Management
- Oversee operations of all dialysis centers across Malaysia, ensuring consistent service quality and adherence to organizational standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs for operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, center utilization, and financial performance.
- Optimize patient scheduling, throughput, and capacity to maximize access and revenue.
- Lead incident management, risk mitigation, and operational crisis response.
2. Clinical Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all centers comply with local health regulations, accreditation standards, and internal clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors and nursing leaders to maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, and treatment outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in clinical processes, quality assurance, and patient experience.
3. Financial & Business Management
- Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and P&L for the network.
- Optimize procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationships for dialysis consumables, equipment, and pharmaceuticals.
- Support business development teams in evaluating new site openings, partnerships, and service expansion opportunities.
4. People Leadership & Workforce Planning
- Lead, mentor, and develop operations team.
- Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and retention of key clinical and operational staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
5. Strategic Initiatives & Expansion
- Contribute to the company's growth strategy through market analysis, feasibility studies, and operational input for new centers.
- Support digital transformation initiatives such as EMR systems, remote monitoring, and operational automation.
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or a related field required.
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in multi-site healthcare operations, dialysis or renal care strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in managing operations across multiple locations or countries.
- Experience working within Southeast Asian healthcare systems is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in operational optimization, quality management, and financial performance.
