JOB TYPE:

12 Months Renewable contract

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and administer Microsoft Active Directory (AD), including users, groups, computers, OUs, and Group Policies.
• Perform user account creation, modification, disabling, password resets, and access management.
• Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and ensure policies are applied appropriately across the environment.
• Administer Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and maintain AD services such as DNS, DHCP, replication, and domain controllers.
• Troubleshoot AD authentication, login, permissions, replication, and connectivity issues.
• Manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and support domain/forest-level administration.
• Handle user and group permissions, security groups, and access control based on organizational policies.
• Support Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) administration, including user synchronization and identity management.
• Perform AD health checks, replication monitoring, and troubleshooting using relevant tools.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and role changes by managing access and identity lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for Windows and Active Directory environments.
• Participate in server upgrades, migrations, patching, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
• Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and incident records.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and work with network, security, and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in System Administration / Windows Server / Active Directory.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Good knowledge of AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Group/OU management and AD replication.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for administration and automation is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting skills covering authentication, permissions, Windows servers, and network connectivity.
• Understanding of IT security, access management, backup, patching, and system monitoring.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
