We are seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to manage the technical upkeep and field support of our specialized gas systems.
You will be the primary point of contact for onsite technical execution, responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining LPG and natural gas odorization systems to ensure safe and continuous operations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Execute onsite installation, functional testing, and commissioning of odorant injection systems and control panels.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and emergency breakdown repairs on specialized chemical pumps, valves, and control systems.
- Technical Training & Support: Conduct operational and safety training for client technicians and plant operators upon project completion.
- Service Documentation: Generate comprehensive service reports, site inspection logs, and commissioning checklists for internal and client records.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of hands-on field service experience in the Oil & Gas, utility gas, or chemical process sector.
- Knowledge: Strong technical competency in chemical dosing/injection pumps, pneumatic components, and hazardous area equipment (Ex ratings).
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, willingness to travel frequently for site work, and a valid driver's license.
Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
