• Lead, manage, develop, review, and maintain QCQA policies, procedures, SOPs and Food Safety Management System.
• Maintain product specifications, Certificate of Analysis (COA), Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and other related documents.
• Monitor food safety performance and food safety risks are identified, and ensure controls are consistently implemented across all operations.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, GHP, OPRP and CCP requirements.
• Coordinate FSSC 22000 certification, surveillance and recertification audits.
• Ensure required food safety documents and records are properly controlled and maintained.
• Plan and lead internal audits and inspections.
• Coordinate external audits by customers, certification bodies and relevant authorities.
• Monitor audit findings and ensure corrective actions are completed within the required timeline.
• Ensure the Company remains compliant with applicable food safety, quality and Halal requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Halal requirements and maintain documentation and certificates.
• Monitor Halal-critical ingredients, suppliers, processes, activities and coordinate Halal-related audits and CAR.
• Coordinate Food Defense and Food Fraud risk and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor and review Food Defense and Food Fraud programmes and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
• Communicate directly with internal customers, clients, and suppliers regarding Food Safety and Food Quality issues, including answers to or issues in the Corrective Action Request (CAR), and handle customer complaints or feedback.
• Lead investigations of food safety incidents, product defects and customer complaints by conduct and review root cause analysis.
• Approve or recommend corrective and preventive actions and monitor the effectiveness.
• Coordinate product withdrawal or recall procedures when required.
• Coordinate Management Review meetings and ensure required inputs and outputs are completed.
• Review food safety objectives, programmes and performance.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the QCQA and Food Safety Management System.
• Monitor and report QCQA performance and improvement activities to Management.
• Ensure the annual QCQA and food safety training plan is implemented.
• Lead, manage and develop the QCQA team by establish responsibilities, work schedules and performance expectations.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support.
• Perform other duties related to QCQA requirement as directed from time to time.
• Perform other scope of work as directed by Top Management.

Requirement

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree and above in Food Technology, Food Service, Microbiology, Food Science and related course.
• Minimum 3-4 years working experience in food industry, catering, central kitchen or food-service operations is advantages.
• Professional Halal Executive certificate holder.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP
• Knowledge of Halal Management System, Food Defense and Food Fraud requirements.
• Internal Auditor training is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Able to manage audits and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in manage and supervising QAQC personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
