Responsibilities
As Sales Engineer, you will be part of the Residential Sales Business Unit responsible for town gas growth and appliances sales in the private development projects segment. You will play a critical role in deepening customer relationship and pursuit of leads to ensure key stakeholders’ decision to adopt gas appliances for the private residential projects.
Key responsibilities:
Manage existing key accounts assigned and establish new prospective stakeholders account (eg Property developers, project managers, architects, M&E consultants and Interior Designers)
Achieve targets on town gas revenue and appliances sales
Conduct cold call and canvass for prospective new stakeholders, customers and regular visits/calls
Attend to enquiries and assist customers on matters related to gas supply availability, gas pipes installation & design and the supply of gas appliances to projects
Conduct presentations to introduce and promote the benefit of piped gas services and gas powered lifestyle appliances
Primary contact for clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers from leads to handing over to project coordinators till completion.
Participation in bids/tenders for any prospective projects
Manage and coordinate after sales activities to ensure proper project closure
Process new project submission, monitor and manage progress, issuance of letter and quotation, delivery schedule etc
Provide support and assistance for all sales and marketing initiatives; seminar/technical training workshops, marketing literature, marketing materials, PR events etc
Manage payment and track project schedule
Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Pre-requisites:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline preferred or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of related working experience
A team player who is meticulous and able to work independently
Possess good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment and be able to multitask
The successful candidate will be based at 26 Senoko Avenue. Company shuttle bus pickup/dropoff point at Sembawang MRT station.
