Job Description
- Inspect parts under microscope for cosmetic and surface defects.
- Measure critical dimensions using gauges and other non-destructive testing methods.
- Record measurement results accurately in forms / digital systems and flag out-of-tolerance results.
- Escalate abnormal findings, make initial PASS/FAIL judgements under defined criteria, and stop the line when necessary after consulting the team leader.
- Inspect and measure precision parts to support timely corrective action on machine parameters
- Perform accurate data entry for inspection records and reports
- Support other ad-hoc quality control tasks when required.
- Diploma in Precision Engineering or related discipline.
- Good hand-skills and coordination when handling small parts and equipment.
- Basic English for reading work instructions and recording data.
- Able to work in a team-based production environment and communicate clearly with Production and QA
- Hands-On Precision Engineering Exposure Gain practical experience in precision inspection, measurement, and handling of small, high-precision components.
- Develop Quality Control Expertise Build strong knowledge in visual inspection, dimensional measurement, PASS/FAIL evaluation, and quality standards.
- Exposure to Advanced Inspection Equipment Work with microscopes, gauges, and non-destructive testing methods used in precision manufacturing environments.
- Opportunity to Strengthen Technical Skills Develop hands-on skills in inspection data recording, defect identification, reporting, and supporting corrective actions.
- Collaborative Production Environment Work closely with Production and QA teams, gaining valuable exposure to real-time quality control and manufacturing processes.
