Professional Job Description

The Cybersecurity Consultant will provide cybersecurity consulting and implementation support to clients across governance, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, and cloud security. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their cybersecurity requirements, develop appropriate solutions, support project delivery, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen their overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with clients to understand cybersecurity requirements and business objectives.

Provide consulting services across Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), vulnerability management, and cloud security.

Participate in cybersecurity solution scoping, proposal development, and technical planning.

Support the deployment and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for clients.

Provide expert technical consultation throughout cybersecurity projects.

Conduct security assessments and identify potential risks and control gaps.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and project deliverables.

Support clients in implementing appropriate cybersecurity controls and best practices.

Provide technical enablement and knowledge transfer to client teams.

Support post-implementation activities, including corrective and preventive security measures.

Stay current with cybersecurity threats, technologies, frameworks, and industry developments.

Work collaboratively with internal cybersecurity specialists, project teams, and client stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

1–5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT security, GRC, vulnerability management, or security consulting.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security controls.

Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, or similar standards.

Knowledge of network security, cloud security, vulnerability assessment, and security monitoring.

Experience with security tools, SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, or cloud-security technologies is an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident-investigation skills.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
