Role Description The HSEQ Intern will support the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) team in implementing and monitoring safety and quality initiatives at the Tuas site. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting with risk assessments, incident reporting, safety inspections, and environmental compliance checks. The intern will help maintain HSEQ documentation, update records, and prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. Daily activities may include supporting safety training sessions, participating in audits, and collaborating with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture. The HSEQ Intern will also contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing workplace safety, environmental performance, and quality standards.
Qualifications

• Strong interest in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality management, with basic understanding of HSEQ principles and regulatory requirements.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends for safety and quality improvement.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, data analysis, and report preparation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and engage with staff on-site.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow procedures and guidelines accurately in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Tuas and to learn from practical exposure to industrial HSEQ practices.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) or previous internship experience in HSEQ or industrial operations is an advantage.
