Job Description

We are looking for a PLC Automation Engineer to support automated equipment, system integration, and production-line automation projects in Taiwan. The role involves PLC programming, equipment installation, commissioning, and coordination of multi-machine automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC programming, code modification, equipment installation, and commissioning for automated equipment.
• Support system integration and coordinated commissioning of multiple machines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation, electrical control, and equipment-related issues during installation and commissioning.
• Support production-line-level automation and integration projects.
• Coordinate with Taiwan-based teams and clients throughout project implementation and commissioning.
• Participate in FAT/SAT, equipment testing, and on-site commissioning activities where required.

Requirements

• Senior high school, vocational diploma, or above.
• Able to program or modify code on at least one mainstream PLC platform.
• Mandarin proficiency is required for daily communication with Taiwan-based teams and clients.
• Preferred experience in one or more of the following:
  • Automated equipment
  • Electrical controls
  • Electromechanical integration
  • Equipment installation and commissioning
• Willing and able to relocate to Taiwan for the role.
• Able to accommodate overtime and project-based working schedules.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and wearing a partial cleanroom suit.

Advantageous Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:

• Servo motor / VFD commissioning
• EtherCAT / Modbus communication
• Industrial robot integration, including Epson, ABB, FANUC, or KUKA
• Machine vision systems, including Cognex or Keyence
• FAT / SAT testing
• Legacy automation system retrofits
• Multi-machine system integration

Relocation to Taiwan

This position is based in Taiwan and is open to candidates currently residing in Malaysia or overseas who are willing to relocate.
