What The Role Is

You will be involved in designing and executing initiatives, processes and enablers to support innovations developed by Army Formations and Divisions. You will ensure resources and processes are in place to support the trial or scaling of innovations, as well as developing recognition, incentive and engagement frameworks to excite innovators and raise awareness of Army ground-up innovations within the MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and at the Public Service level.

What You Will Be Working On

• Monitor Army innovation projects and track targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as speed to market, scaling of innovation and idea attrition rate
• Generate monthly reports and analysis for Army Formations, Divisions and units
• Manage innovation enablers such as innovation funds, expertise and pitch systems, and track and analyse their utilisation
• Organise Army innovation workshops and education seminars
• Develop recognition and incentive frameworks to motivate innovators and design engagement and publicity frameworks to raise awareness of Army ground-up innovations
• Perform recording secretary role for the Army Innovation Committee
  
  Challenge(s)
• Working with all Army Formations and Divisions while coordinating with other innovation offices in MINDEF/SAF to drive alignment and progress on innovation initiatives
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Knowledge or experience in managing innovation is advantageous
• Proficiency in data analysis
