Role Summary

We are looking for an IT Technician who enjoys solving complex technical problems, leading by example, and working directly with teams across the organization to resolve issues quickly.

The role involves providing technical support for production systems, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining smooth IT operations in a 24x7 manufacturing environment.

Job responsibilities:

· Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems

· Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT-related equipment

· Provide on-site and remote technical support to users and clients

· Install and maintain security systems, communication systems, and IT infrastructure

· Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance

· Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues efficiently

· Ensure all IT installations comply with company safety, quality, and IT standards

· Maintain accurate documentation for all devices, system changes, and support activities

· Assist with basic network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting

· Support Microsoft 365 (M365) user setup, basic administration, and troubleshooting

· Work closely with team members and report issues clearly to supervisors

Requirements:

· Diploma or higher qualification in an IT-related field

· At least 1 year of experience in an IT-related field is preferred

· Experience in technical support, operations, or manufacturing environments is an advantage

· Exposure to networking environments is preferred

· Basic knowledge of computer hardware, electronics, networking, and IT systems

· Understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) environment

· Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Good communication skills in English

· Team-oriented with a positive and hardworking attitude

· Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to tasks

· Able to work independently and manage time effectively

Technical Skills

Candidates should possess strong knowledge in most of the following areas:

· Windows Desktop & Windows Server

· Microsoft SQL Server

· Networking fundamentals

· Remote Support Tools

· Hardware troubleshooting

· System deployment

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
