Job Description

Responsibilities

What To Expect

  • Work primarily on existing eServices digital systems and may include other projects.
  • Ensure projects are executed to meet identified business needs and outcome, within agreed parameters of cost, duration and quality.
  • Timely plan, coordinate, seek approval and execute change/service requests for enhancements and fixes in eService digital systems.
  • Assess and apply the appropriate project management methodology to ensure project success.
  • Identify potential project risks and the implications to the organisation and recommend mitigating measures.
  • Project performance tracking and reporting.
  • Actively engage and motivate various key partners to deliver and effect positive change of eService digital systems.
  • Handle security assessments and activities: VA, PT, SCR, risk assessment/risk register, security exercises and other initiatives.
  • Handle compliance activities.
  • Incident management, recovery and remediation.
  • Budget tracking and financial monitoring, billing/invoice verification.
  • Handle contracting and approval processes.

How To Succeed

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information/Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience as a Project Manager in at least 2 full project development life cycles.
  • Strong vendor management and interpersonal ability.
  • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.
  • An adaptable and enterprising personality, with willingness to pick new knowledge and take calculated risks.
  • Be motivated by innovation to achieve tangible business outcomes.
  • Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, to positively influence key partners.
  • Strong sense of commitment and ownership in delivering work to completion with quality standards.

Preferred Skills

  • At least 2 years government work experience in the above-mentioned scope.
  • Conversant with government compliance.
  • Experience in presentations and engaging difficult stakeholders.
  • Experience in handling projects involving Cloud, Design Thinking, Data Analytics or Agile/Product-Centric Development.
  • Project Management-related certifications such as CITPM, COMIT or PMP.
