Tan Chong & Sons Motor Company Sdn Bhd (Subsidiary of Tan Chong Group) is looking for Executive, Inventory Management.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manages spare parts inventory for assigned accounts to maintain optimal stock levels through effective forecasting, order planning, purchase confirmation, and procurement coordination.

• Analyzes sales history to forecast future demand and support inventory planning decisions.

• Monitors SPD stock and system parameters (e.g., reorder points and safety stock levels) to ensure timely replenishment and consistent supply availability.

• Coordinates with suppliers on open or outstanding purchase orders, delivery schedules, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Tracks and follows up on unfulfilled customer backorders to ensure timely fulfillment.

• Liaises with vendors on part inquiries, purchase forecasts, pricing, shipping arrangements, and claims management for both customers and suppliers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent.

• Fresh graduates or candidates with a minimum of 2 years of shipping experience.

• Experience in WMS, ERP, MRP, or similar systems will be an added advantage.

• Good analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
