Job Responsibilities
Oversee and supervise all daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to the project schedule.
Assist the Project Manager/Site Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring site operations.
Lead and supervise site supervisors, workers, subcontractors, and trades to achieve project objectives.
Coordinate work sequences, manpower allocation, machinery, and site resources to maximize productivity.
Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
Enforce workplace safety regulations, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure compliance with WSH requirements.
Identify, resolve, and report construction issues, technical problems, and site constraints promptly.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on site matters.
Inspect and verify construction materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
Plan and procure construction materials, equipment, and resources to prevent work delays.
Ensure proper site housekeeping, security, and environmental control throughout the project.
Conduct toolbox meetings and provide guidance and supervision to workers on safe work practices.
Maintain daily site records, work progress reports, manpower deployment, material usage, and inspection records.
Review and interpret structural, architectural, and M&E drawings, specifications, and method statements before execution.
Ensure works are completed on time, within quality standards, and in accordance with contract requirements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma, Nitec, NCCS, or equivalent qualification in Building & Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in A&A, R&R, General Building Works, Civil Works, or Design & Build projects.
Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, quality control, and workplace safety requirements.
Able to read and interpret structural, architectural, and construction drawings.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Hands-on, responsible, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License and own a vehicle is an advantage.
Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations and WSH requirements is preferred.
