About the role
We are seeking an experienced
Hair Salon Director
to lead our salon operations in the Orchard Central Region. This is a
full-time position
offering the opportunity to drive strategic direction, manage daily operations, and foster a thriving team environment within our dynamic hair and beauty services business. As Hair Salon Director, you will be responsible for the overall success and profitability of the salon, ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the hair and beauty industry.
Key responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of salon operations, including staff management, scheduling, inventory control and financial performance
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to increase revenue, attract new clients and enhance customer retention
Manage recruitment, training, development and performance management of salon staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment
Ensure all staff adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
Monitor service quality and client satisfaction, implementing improvements and addressing concerns promptly
Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and personalised attention
Manage salon finances, including budgeting, cost control and achieving financial targets
Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to enhance the salon's brand presence and attract clientele
Liaise with senior management on business performance and provide regular reports on key metrics
What we're looking for
5+ years' experience in salon management or leadership within the hair and beauty services industry
Proven track record of successfully managing salon operations, staff teams and achieving business objectives
Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse performance data and drive profitability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop team members
In-depth knowledge of hair services, styling techniques, treatments and industry best practices
Customer service excellence with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences
Proficiency in salon management software and point-of-sale systems
Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene regulations relevant to hair and beauty services
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound business decisions
Passion for the hair and beauty industry with a drive to stay current with trends and innovations
