About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Technical Lead to own end-to-end technical delivery of a complex B2B commerce and customer portal transformation programme built on SAP Hybris (SAP Commerce Cloud). This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep engineering expertise, strong delivery risk management, and the ability to guide multiple engineering squads through complex build challenges — from detailed design through build, migration, cutover, and hypercare — while maintaining strong customer and stakeholder influence.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Transformation

• Own end-to-end technical delivery of a complex B2B commerce and customer portal transformation programme, spanning detailed design, build, migration, cutover, and hypercare phases.
• Manage delivery risk, sequencing, and dependencies across multiple engineering squads.
• Ensure engineering integrity at scale, actively identifying and mitigating technical and delivery risk throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, guiding teams through complex build and integration challenges.

Data & Integration

• Engineer data-intensive solutions and integration flows across enterprise systems.
• Build secure, governed, and interoperable data pipelines with strong data quality, lineage, and observability.
• Deliver API, data model, and application component specifications supporting the broader commerce and portal architecture.

Technical Architecture & Engineering

• Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems.
• Apply deep understanding of B2B-specific commerce capabilities within the SAP Hybris/Commerce Cloud platform.
• Deliver solutions spanning custom build, configured platforms, and third-party integrations at scale.
• Embed observability, operational readiness, and lifecycle ownership into all engineering delivery.

DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure

• Implement infrastructure automation and modern CI/CD pipelines on AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
• Own deployment automation and environment management across development, testing, and production landscapes.
• Apply extensive knowledge of application performance monitoring and management tools to ensure system reliability.

Governance & Team Leadership

• Maintain technical governance, code quality, and architecture compliance artefacts throughout delivery.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination across Front-End, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF), Database, and DevOps engineering teams.
• Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production release activities.
• Deliver operational readiness artefacts including monitoring setup, runbooks, support documentation, and handover materials.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• Advanced (P3) proficiency in SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud (B2C/B2B Commerce).
• Deep expertise in designing, building, and operating highly available, scalable, and resilient distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of B2B-specific commerce capabilities.
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and modern CI/CD pipelines on AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to embed observability, operational readiness, and lifecycle ownership into engineering delivery.
• Experience delivering solutions spanning custom build, configured platforms, and third-party integrations at scale.
• Extensive knowledge of application performance monitoring and management tools.
• 5-8+ years of experience in enterprise technology, security, and operations within large-scale global environments, including 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
• 6+ years of experience specifically in B2B order-to-cash customer portal transformations.
