Job Overview

Kleverstock is looking for a Financial Journalist with 3–5 years experience covering fi nancial and business news. The role involves researching, reporting and producing timely, accurate and engaging content for its digital platforms.

The successful candidate is a curious and resourceful journalist who can identify newsworthy developments, work with fi nancial research and data, conduct interviews, and explain complex fi nancial topics clearly to readers.

Key Responsibilities

Research, report and write fi nancial, business, economic and corporate news, including news reports, interviews and profi les.

Identify newsworthy topics and story angles based on market movements, corporate developments, economic trends and industry issues.

Source and analyse research reports, fi nancial data, company announcements and industry studies to support reporting and provide context.

Conduct interviews and on-the-ground reporting with business leaders, analysts, economists and industry experts.

Fact-check and verify fi gures, data, quotations and sources to ensure accuracy and credibility.

Write clear and engaging headlines, introductions and editorial copy.

Develop charts and data visualisations from fi nancial and economic data with the graphic artist where required.

Build and maintain industry contacts and stay informed on Malaysian and international fi nancial and business developments.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
