Main Duties

• Manage daily financial activities, including payments, collections, banking transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
• Monitor customer and supplier orders, payment progress, shipment updates and transaction records.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, invoices, packing lists and other trade documents.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, banks, freight forwarders and external accounting providers.
• Track order costs, cash flow and profit margins.
• Assist with GST matters, audits and management reporting.
• Handle additional finance and trade operations duties when required.

Essential Requirements

• At least two years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, trade operations or a similar position.
• Able to independently manage payments, collections, banking activities and financial records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with numbers and business documents.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
• Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, International Trade or a related field.
• Experience in trading, import and export, or manufacturing companies.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, pro forma invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping documents.
• Knowledge of telegraphic transfers, letters of credit or foreign exchange transactions.
• Understanding of Singapore GST requirements or experience supporting full sets of accounts.
