Role Description
- Plan, supervise and execute preventive, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance activity
- Ensure reliable operation of electrical systems for lorry pump, export pump, air compressor, loading system & terminal utilities
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, breakdown and equipment trips and ensure timely rectification
- Monitor electrical equipment condition and identify potential failure before breakdown occurs
- Maintain critical electrical equipment and ensure minimum downtime
Qualifications
- Possess or be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and basic electrical principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in technical and safety-related tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in an operational, on-site environment.
- Awareness of workplace safety, health, and environmental practices; willingness to follow established safety protocols.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and ability to prepare simple reports and documentation.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced industrial setting; ability to work in outdoor and terminal conditions.
- Previous internship or exposure to industrial, logistics, or oil and gas environments is an advantage but not mandatory.
