We’re Hiring: .NET Architect

We are looking for an experienced .NET Architect to join our team and lead the design and development of enterprise-grade, cloud-native applications.

Location: Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Setup: Onsite

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable / Renewable)

Candidate Eligibility: Open to candidates currently available in Malaysia

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of overall software development experience, with strong expertise in the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6/7/8.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar role in enterprise application development.
• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, and EF Core.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on experience with the AWS platform, including: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, IAM, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation/CDK for Infrastructure as Code
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, AKS, and Service Bus, is a plus for hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with message brokers and event-driven architectures, including RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, and Azure Service Bus.
• Solid understanding of Design Patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, SOLID principles, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools, such as AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, as well as Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, and Bicep.
• Strong understanding of application security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OWASP standards, and AWS IAM policies.
• Demonstrated Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process and workflow mapping, use-case and user-story development, and translating business problems into technical solution designs.
• Proficiency with BA tools and techniques, such as JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, UML, and wireframing, for requirements documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus for full-stack architecture understanding.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade applications using .NET Core/.NET 6+, C#, and related technologies.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across development teams.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture for complex business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and conduct stakeholder workshops to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, including BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and effective technical solutions.
• Architect and oversee microservices-based, cloud-native applications across AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Design and deploy scalable solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Guide and mentor development teams on coding standards, SOLID principles, DDD, TDD, and architectural governance.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and technology evaluations.
• Perform gap analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and impact assessments to support informed business and technology decisions.
• Own and define the DevOps and CI/CD strategy for build, deployment, and release automation.
• Collaborate with QA teams to define and implement testing strategies covering performance, security, reliability, and quality.
• Manage technical debt and drive continuous improvement across the application landscape.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives, strategic goals, and expected ROI.
