About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer to join the dynamic team at ILASER PTE. LTD.. As a Service Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support and maintenance for our state-of-the-art machine system. Whether you are an entry-level professional or have some experience in the field, we welcome your application.
What you'll be doing
Conduct installation, maintenance and servicing of machine at customer sites
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues of equipment, identify root causes and implement solutions
Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop new system components if needed
Provide customer support via phone, email or on-site visits to ensure client satisfaction
Maintain detailed records of all service activities and prepare reports
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments technology and continuously expand your technical knowledge
What we're looking for
Min. Higher Nitec in any field of Engineering or a related technical discipline
Experience in servicing and maintaining complex machinery or equipment, preferably in the 3D printer, laser, MAKER equipments or photonics industry, but not a must
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues
Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and collaborate with the engineering team
Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site service and support
Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements technology
Possess valid Class 3 driving licence is preferred
