Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an advantage..
Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Assist with month-end closing, financial reports and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with company policies.
- Assist with hotel daily revenue reconciliation and ensure revenue is properly recorded.
- Review and verify financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Assist with budgeting, audit requirements and other financial analysis when required.
- Liaise with other hotel departments, suppliers and customers regarding accounting matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
