We are looking for a Rust Software Developer to join a team building secure and scalable enterprise software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work across both backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on Rust, web applications, APIs, databases, integrations, and enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full-stack web applications using Rust, Axum and Leptos.
• Build backend services, REST APIs, server functions, and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop application modules covering areas such as workflow, approvals, audit trails, user access, background processing, and multi-tenancy.
• Build responsive web interfaces using Leptos, WebAssembly and Tailwind CSS.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, queries, migrations, and database integrations.
• Develop integrations involving authentication, digital signing, document processing, and third-party services.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerised development, code reviews, and Git-based workflows.
• Implement application monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Work closely with engineering team members to troubleshoot issues and deliver end-to-end features.

Skills & Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on production Rust experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Rust, async/await, ownership, lifetimes, traits, and concurrency.
• Experience with Rust web frameworks such as Leptos, Axum, Actix, Yew or Dioxus.
• Practical knowledge of WebAssembly (WASM), SSR and hydration.
• Strong backend and API development experience.
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL, including database design, migrations, indexing, and data integrity.
• Experience with Docker/Podman and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and development best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across the application stack.
• Comfortable working within a complex codebase and delivering features from database through backend, UI and testing.
• Security-conscious approach to authentication, authorisation, audit logging, and handling sensitive information.
• Experience in e-invoicing, fintech, enterprise applications, UBL/PEPPOL, MyInvois or digital signatures is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Loki or Tempo is an advantage.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or Cursor is a plus.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, technically curious, analytical, and comfortable owning features end-to-end. Candidates should be able to work independently while collaborating closely with other developers and technical stakeholders.
