About the role

The QA/QC Assistant supports the QA/QC department in maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes across food manufacturing operations, including documentation, audits, compliance, and food safety initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation for FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, Halal, Kosher, RSPO, MSPO, ISCC, EUDR and GMS
• Manage document control by maintaining master list, updating revision number and registering new documents
• Assist in halal and kosher applications
• Support internal audits and supplier audits, issuing non-conformance reports and following up on corrective actions
• Ensure the validity of supporting documents (e.g. halal, kosher certificates) provided by suppliers
• Assist in attending external audits including certification audits and customer audits
• Distribute customer survey form and prepare reports on customer satisfaction analysis
• Conduct monthly GMP inspections and hygiene checks
• Assist in implementing food safety and quality culture programs
• Assist in preparing reports for management review

About you

• Minimum diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
• 1-2 years experience in food manufacturing is preferred
• Basic understanding of Food Act, ISO 9001, GMP and HACCP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
