JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Work From Home (WFH)

Field Application Engineering (Technical Support & Design-In)

  • Serve as the primary technical expert forproducts across the assigned territory.
  • Drive "design-in" and "design-win" activities by working closely with customers' R&D and engineering teams from the early concept phase through to mass production.
  • Conduct technical product presentations, architecture reviews, and training sessions for customers and distribution partners.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with global product managers and engineering teams to resolve customer challenges and provide feedback for future product roadmaps.
  • Develop system-level interconnect proposals tailored to specific applications, such as battery management systems, vehicle controllers, and high-speed I/O interfaces.

Business Development & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for Malaysia and Indonesia, mapping out key tier-one suppliers and OEMs.
  • Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities, with a strategic emphasis on the Indonesian automotive and E-Mobility sectors.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key supply chain and distribution partners to ensure optimal inventory management and demand fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the ASEAN region to positioncompetitively.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, manage pricing strategies, and oversee the sales pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • ?Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in a Field Application Engineering, Technical Sales, or Business Development role within the electronic components, interconnect, or semiconductor industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in Malaysia and the automotive/E-Mobility supply chains in Indonesia.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to read technical drawings and discuss mechanical and thermal performance with mechanical and electronics engineers.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Must be fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) across Malaysia and Indonesia to meet with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
