Logistics CoordinatorJob Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely movement of goods, equipment, and materials. The role involves managing shipments, preparing logistics documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders, transport providers, and customs authorities, while ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery according to operational requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics documentation, including Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), and Air Waybills (AWB).
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, warehouse personnel, customers, and customs authorities to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with import/export requirements, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve shipment delays, cargo damages, discrepancies, and shortages with relevant parties.
  • Maintain logistics records, shipment reports, and filing systems for operational and audit purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, HSE requirements, and applicable logistics regulations.
  • Support the Logistics Manager with daily logistics planning, reporting, and operational coordination.
  • Perform other logistics-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field. A Bachelor's Degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, warehousing, or transportation operations.
  • Experience in coordinating domestic and international shipments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation, customs clearance, import/export procedures, Incoterms, and HS Code classification is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with logistics documents such as Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), and Air Waybills (AWB).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with ERP or logistics management systems is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with a high level of integrity.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
