Group Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and communicate SKHK’s vision, strategy, operating priorities, and long-term ambition.
  • Lead the company across product strategy, commercial development, fundraising, partnerships, organisational design, and execution.
  • Establish SKHK as a defining company in the emerging regulatory intelligence and operations software category.
  • Work directly with early customers to understand their workflows, commercial priorities, buying processes, and most valuable regulatory use cases.
  • Translate customer and market insight into a focused product strategy and credible commercial proposition.
  • Partner closely with technical and regulatory-domain leadership to develop trusted, domain-aware AI products capable of searching, reading, comparing, citing, and interpreting complex regulatory materials.
  • Ensure that SKHK’s products meet the standards of accuracy, traceability, security, and auditability required for high-stakes enterprise decision-making.
  • Develop the company’s positioning, pricing, packaging, distribution, and enterprise sales strategy.
  • Build senior relationships with regulatory, legal, compliance, strategy, government affairs, and commercial decision-makers.
  • Secure strategic partnerships that strengthen SKHK’s data access, subject-matter expertise, market credibility, customer reach, or international distribution.
  • Recruit, motivate, and lead a high-performing team across product, technology, commercial, and customer-facing functions.
  • Establish a disciplined, commercially focused operating culture that combines speed and entrepreneurialism with clear accountability.
  • Develop the investor narrative, build relationships with prospective investors, and lead the company’s future fundraising.
  • Identify opportunities for international expansion, acquisitions, strategic investments, and adjacent product development as the company grows.

Essential Experience and Attributes

  • A substantial record of building, leading, transforming, or scaling an entrepreneurial technology, data, digital media, information-services, or software-enabled business.
  • Demonstrable success taking a business from an early or transitional stage into significant commercial growth.
  • Experience developing and commercialising products or services built around valuable data, content, intellectual property, workflows, or proprietary market knowledge.
  • A strong record of creating and executing commercial strategy, including enterprise partnerships, distribution agreements, pricing, market positioning, and international expansion.
  • Proven ability to establish trusted relationships and negotiate complex agreements with major corporations, institutions, rights holders, data owners, investors, or other strategic stakeholders.
  • Experience raising capital, leading major corporate transactions, or presenting a compelling growth narrative to sophisticated investors and boards.
  • Strong understanding of how technology changes established industries, customer behaviour, operating models, and commercial value chains.
  • Ability to turn a complex market opportunity into a focused product vision, credible business model, and compelling company narrative.
  • Sufficient product and technology fluency to work effectively with technical leadership, challenge priorities constructively, and make sound investment and product decisions.
  • An entrepreneurial, decisive, and highly commercial leadership style, with the willingness to operate hands-on during the company’s formative stages.
  • The judgement and adaptability to lead effectively in an ambiguous and rapidly evolving market.
  • A strong commitment to recruiting outstanding functional leaders and empowering them with clear objectives and accountability.
  • The presence and credibility to represent SKHK with enterprise customers, strategic partners, regulators, investors, and prospective employees.

Particularly Relevant Experience

  • The strongest candidates are likely to bring several—not necessarily all—of the following:
  • Experience building a category-defining or market-disrupting company.
  • Leadership of a business through rapid revenue growth, international expansion, an IPO, major fundraising, or a significant strategic exit.
  • Experience acquiring, licensing, aggregating, or commercialising complex data, content, rights, or intellectual property.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled products, data platforms, enterprise knowledge systems, workflow software, or vertical technology businesses.
  • Experience executing acquisitions, integrations, joint ventures, or other strategic corporate transactions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory affairs, compliance, legal operations, government affairs, public records, filings, proceedings, or regulated industries.
  • Experience with products requiring trust, traceability, citations, auditability, and expert human review.
  • An established network among enterprise leaders, investors, technology operators, strategic partners, or owners of valuable data and content.
