Responsibilities
About the client:
Our client manufactures, and supports super‑insulated cryogenic systems and components that reduce heat leak, stabilize performance, and remain serviceable throughout their full lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming raw materials, mechanical and electrical components, fabricated parts, valves, fittings and welding consumables.
- Verify materials against engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and thread gauges.
- Review Certificates of Conformance (COC), Material Test Certificates (MTC) and inspection reports.
- Raise NCRs and coordinate the handling of rejected or non-conforming materials.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI), supplier audits, CAPA follow-up and supplier performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, material traceability and quality documentation.
- Support continuous improvement, digital quality documentation and inspection automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Production, Warehouse and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Quality, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
- Preferably 2–5 years of experience in IQC, IQA, supplier quality, manufacturing quality or QA/QC.
- Fresh graduates with strong engineering fundamentals may apply.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings; knowledge of GD&T is preferred.
- Familiar with dimensional inspection and precision measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of NCR, CAPA, root-cause analysis and ISO 9001.
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, pressure equipment, industrial gas, oil and gas, or semiconductor environments is an advantage.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
