TechStreet Hiring! Full Time Front-End Engineering Lead – React - React Native in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 16,000 - Ricebowl

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Engineering Lead to take ownership of the development and technical direction of our web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in ReactJS and React Native, together with experience working across the full development lifecycle.

You will work closely with developers, clients and other technical stakeholders to build scalable applications, improve existing systems and maintain high standards across the development process. The role also involves contributing to backend development using Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, architecture, development and delivery of front-end applications.
• Build responsive, scalable and maintainable web and mobile solutions using modern development frameworks.
• Establish coding standards, development practices and front-end architecture guidelines.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and support end-to-end application functionality.
• Contribute to Node.js backend development using JavaScript or TypeScript when required.
• Investigate technical issues, troubleshoot application problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Review existing applications and recommend improvements to performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Conduct technical reviews and help ensure development work meets quality standards.
• Guide, mentor and support developers within the team.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and modern front-end development practices.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across different projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Full Stack Development, with strong expertise in front-end development.
• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and React Native.
• Good understanding of responsive web development, modern front-end frameworks and UI/UX principles.
• Practical knowledge of Node.js and RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with software architecture, coding standards and development best practices.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing a software development team.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
