AHN Vertex Hiring! Full Time Quantity Surveyor in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 4,300 - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Updated knowledge on current material market price, specifically in pavement infrastructure industry.
• Prepare & follow up on claim procedure post construction / after project completion.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates for road construction projects.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant data and measurements.
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify material requirements and labor costs.
• Prepare tender documents and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure cost control and adherence to financial targets.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize construction processes and identify opportunities for value engineering.
• Provide regular reports on cost performance, variance analysis, and forecasting to stakeholders.
• Experience with Pavement Condition Assessment services is an advantage.

Requiremens:

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in road / pavement infrastructure projects.
• Sound knowledge of construction cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying / cost estimation software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and travel for site visits as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
