In 1970, Cargolux Airlines International S.A. started operations from its newly established home base at Luxembourg airport with a handful of Canadair CL-44 freighters. 45 years later, Cargolux is Europe’s biggest all-cargo airline with a fleet of modern Boeing 747-8 and ************* freighters. Cargolux is a launch customer for the technologically advanced 747-8F that joined the fleet in late 2011 and is the world’s first operator of this aircraft type. Already in 1993, Cargolux had shown its pioneering spirit when it took delivery of the world’s first ************* freighter.
Task Responsibilities:
Ensure the route forecast is optimal across your markets
Utilize all available reports and sources to understand your market, its performance, and the economic environment in which it is operating
Use the understanding of markets to define and implement strategies in the revenue management systems
Review flight level forecasts and booking ramp ups and ensure the optimal settings given the current environment and performance
Identify opportunities for capacity and revenue optimization
Create and maintain dashboard to support the decision making
Recommend changes in strategy to better optimize load factors and revenues
Suggest changes in pricing, capacity, frequencies to maximize revenue on portfolio of markets
Provide structural performance reports with right-sizing recommendations
Assist in field training to launch potential new concepts and tools
Essential Requirements For The Position:
Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations research Airline Revenue Management experience or tertiary qualifications in a numerical or business-related discipline are a plus
Very good knowledge in MS Office tools (Excel proficiency a must, and VBA is essential)
Proficiency on Power BI knowledge will be a plus
Excellent quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Effective communicator (both written and verbal) across all levels of the organization and with a good command of the English language
Able to find solutions to complex, cross-functional problems
Self-starter: able to work on own initiative, make decisions and implement them
Organized and disciplined – able to manage delivery of multiple objectives
Flexibility to adaptively respond to a range of different work situations
Be trustworthy, honest, business-minded and support and promote company values
Working Conditions:
It is a full-time position based in Hong Kong.
Flexibility is needed with working hours and local holidays
This position demands a regular and full-time presence and requires also business trips, vacation and other absences are planned in a way that they do not conflict with service requirements.
