Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary technical lead throughout pre‑sales, bidding, proposal development, and project implementation phases.
  • Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements, provide industry insights, and recommend suitable data centre solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and project discussions with stakeholders and customers.
  • Develop end‑to‑end datacenter facility designs covering:
    • Electrical systems
    • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
    • Fire protection systems
    • Civil and structural works
  • Perform load calculations, system sizing, technology selection, budgeting, and preparation of technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to define scopes of work and review shop drawings.
  • Conduct technical risk assessments, project costing, and manpower planning analysis.
  • Ensure solutions comply with industry best practices and standards, including TIA‑942, BICSI, IEC 61439, IEEE 493, and BS 7671.
  • Evaluate and recommend critical infrastructure equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear, ATS, STS, UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, busways, and power cabling.
  • Support system integration testing, commissioning activities, and certification requirements.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data center integration, facility design, or turnkey project solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data center design principles, bidding processes, project management methodologies, and integration testing.
  • Proven experience supporting large‑scale data center projects exceeding 1MW capacity is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, and other relevant engineering design tools.
  • Familiarity with data center certification processes, including Tier Certification of Constructed Facility.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of performing in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Certifications
  • Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) - Uptime Institute
  • Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) - EXIN EPI
