The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior Software Engineer with strong PHP + React.js + MySQL + AWS experience, complemented by solid knowledge of Laravel/CodeIgniter, Python, Linux/Nginx, automated testing, secure SDLC practices, and modern GenAI/LLM engineering. They should be capable of taking ownership from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in software programming and application design.
- 5+ years of commercial experience in PHP application development.
- 3+ years of commercial experience with React.js.
- Strong experience in Object-Oriented programming, analysis, design, and development methodologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major relational database, preferably MySQL; experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL is also valuable.
- Strong knowledge of Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and cloud-based application development/deployment.
- Good knowledge of Linux environments and Nginx.
- Experience with automated testing and browser automation frameworks such as:
- Selenium
- Puppeteer
- Playwright
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs/services and customer-facing or internal applications.
- Understanding of secure coding, application security, privacy, SDLC controls, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices.
- Exposure to GenAI/LLM technologies, including coding assistants, RAG, AI-assisted testing, or other LLM-powered engineering capabilities, is required.
