Mainframe Developer – 3+ years

Senior Mainframe Developer – 6+ years

Lead Mainframe Developer – 10+ years

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining insurance applications on mainframe platforms.
• Translate business requirements into system specifications and technical solutions.
• Handle batch/online processing, performance tuning, incident management and root cause analysis.
• Support application changes, releases, operational documentation and system enhancements.
• Drive mainframe modernization, including test automation, CI/CD, development tools and integration with modern platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting and modernization.
• Ensure systems comply with security, regulatory and operational requirements.

Job Requirement

• Strong experience in Mainframe / COBOL / JCL / DB2 / VSAM
• Experience in software development, system enhancement and production support
• Exposure to mainframe modernization, CI/CD or test automation is an advantage
• Experience with Java / modern platforms is a plus
• Business-level Japanese is required
• Financial services / insurance industry experience is preferred
