Job Description
Prepare and review project quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and quantity take-offs from drawings.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Evaluate and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.
Prepare cost comparisons and assist in procurement.
Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project.
Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
Assist with contract administration and payment certification.
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
Attend site meetings and site inspections when required.
Maintain proper records of contracts, costs, claims, and variations.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in
Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
.
Minimum
1–3 years of relevant experience
in construction, renovation, building, civil engineering, or related industries.
Familiar with
quantity take-off, costing, tendering, and contract administration
.
Able to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
Proficient in
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and well-organized.
Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Experience with
variation claims, progress claims, and final accounts
is an advantage.
