Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and water systems within the factory, including distribution boxes, water pipes, water pumps, lighting, and related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical wiring, water lines, and piping systems to identify potential safety hazards and prevent equipment failures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies such as water leaks, power interruptions, electrical faults, and short circuits.
• Monitor and record factory water and electricity meter readings and assist with tracking and calculating utility consumption.
• Support the procurement, registration, and inventory tracking of electrical and plumbing equipment, tools, and spare parts.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, inspection, and equipment records for proper documentation and follow-up.
• Work closely with the Logistics and Administration teams to carry out maintenance, repair, upgrading, and renovation works for dormitories, offices, and production areas.
• Ensure all electrical and plumbing work is performed in accordance with safety procedures and company requirements.
• Assist with regular factory safety inspections and promptly report any potential hazards or maintenance issues.
• Support other facility, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as an Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Technician, preferably within a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Experience in factory electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair will be an added advantage.
• Possession of a recognized electrician certificate or relevant electrical qualification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of electrical system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with the ability to independently handle common electrical faults and emergencies.
• Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious, with good execution and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and willing to respond to urgent maintenance issues when required, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic communication and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain maintenance records, meter readings, and simple utility reports.
• Minimum education: SPM / equivalent or above.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
