Job Summary

Perform electrical system design and analysis, including load flow, short circuit, and arc-flash studies. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize systems, ensure quality standards, manage budgets, and support maintenance and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

Conduct conceptual design and perform load flow, short circuit, and arc-flash analysis studies to optimize electrical systems

Specify electrical equipment and design electrical infrastructure to meet project requirements

Calculate and set protective relay parameters to ensure system protection and reliability

Configure and commission electrical systems and equipment in the field to meet operational standards

Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to design, develop, test, and improve engineering products and processes

Monitor project expenses and ensure all costs remain within the allocated budget

Perform regular inspections of electrical equipment and schedule maintenance or repairs to maintain system integrity

Assist engineering teams and staff with technical support and problem resolution

Inspect inventory levels, report discrepancies, and order materials to maintain adequate supplies

Produce CAD drawings accurately according to specifications for design and documentation purposes

Evaluate products and processes to enforce quality assurance standards and standardization

Calibrate and troubleshoot electrical equipment to ensure proper functionality

Participate in workshops and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills
